# AskHound
> Find people asking for your product right now: fresh buying-intent conversations on Hacker News, Stack Exchange, Bluesky and GitHub. Free browser tool, open-source CLI and MCP server for AI agents.

AskHound is for dev-tool and prosumer software founders and their AI agents. It turns competitors and a category into buying-intent searches ("X alternative", "switch from X", "X export"), ranks results with a transparent intent hint, and tracks reply-state so agents never reply twice. It never posts. A human approves every disclosed reply.
